Motivation for Envicom Africa
I am a Ghanaian Physician who has lived most of my life in Africa. After about a decade of clinical practice, I decided to transition to the Pharma/ biotech industry, where I have had an opportunity to make a broader impact on patient care and healthcare outcomes. I am passionate about science and innovations that are pragmatic and yet cost effective. Envicom Pte Ltd gives meaning to this, addressing problems that pose an existential threat.

Africa’s rapid urbanization and population growth comes with it the problem of waste, particularly plastic waste. In many African countries, waste management infrastructure is inadequate, with limited recycling facilities and poor waste
collection services. This has resulted in plastic waste piling up in streets, waterways, and landfills, causing environmental pollution and health hazards with long-lasting economic consequences.
Envicom’s operations in Africa will help to solve this problem by removing and recycling plastic waste from the environment, and turning them into products that further addresses global warming and carbon reduction. This also leads to creating clean cities and healthy populations.
One of the effects of global warming is temperatures soaring to extreme levels in many parts of Africa, several months in the year, in some places all year round. Envicom’s reflective and insulating coating is a cost-effective way of improving comfort and energy efficiency and helping to reduce greenhouse gases.
